Thomas Nagler leads Natech Plastics as President & General Manager, transforming it into a premier med device manufacturer since joining in 1999. Tom has a strong background in tackling new product development and multi-disciplinary engineering challenges. With a Beta Gamma Sigma MBA from Columbia, Tom brings a unique perspective and strong sense of leadership to the role. Passionate about leadership and lifelong learning, he cultivates a company culture centered on experiential growth and innovation.
David Kachoui has been with Natech Plastics since 2010 and now serves as the Managing Director of Operations. With a background at Citibank and Smith Barney, and an MBA from Columbia, David enhances Natech’s market presence and client engagement. He is dedicated to quality management and is an avid marathon runner.
Stefanie Saupe, with a Ph.D. in biology and expertise in the IVD market, serves as a Board Member for Sales & Marketing and Head of Customer Support at Natech Plastics and Product Manager at STRATEC. She bridges marketing, sales, and customer support, and has successfully launched the KleeYa analyzer. Stefanie enjoys hiking, theatre, and spending time with her family in Germany.
Maria Bauer is Managing Director at STRATEC Consumables GmbH in Anif, Austria and a Board Member at Natech. She has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Vienna and a diploma in Biology from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. Maria began her career as an Engineer at Sony DADC in 2007 and later joined STRATEC, where she became Head of Engineering before taking on her current role in 2023. With expertise in integrating micro- and nanostructured films with precision molded parts, Maria bridges the gap between engineering and clients. She is passionate about continuous learning, collaboration, and advancing STRATEC’s innovative technologies.
Mike Botta has been with Natech Plastics since 2012 and is currently the Director of Engineering Services. Specializing in medical device engineering, he provides comprehensive design and management support. With a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Binghamton University and 18 patents, Mike’s contributions include authoring the IQ/OQ/PQ Mold Qualification Protocol. He enjoys weightlifting and outdoor activities with his family.
Josh Romero brings a wealth of engineering and entrepreneurial experience to his role as Principal Manufacturing Engineer at Natech Plastics. Holding an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stony Brook University, he specializes in managing projects from design to manufacturing. Josh’s diverse background includes energy storage and aerospace engineering, making him adept at delivering innovative solutions.
Joseph Valenti is Natech Plastics’ Quality Manager, ensuring precise and reliable quality operations. With dual degrees in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Technology, a master’s degree in engineering management, and teaching experience at SUNY Farmingdale, Joe excels in quality systems, metrology, and measurement technologies. His expertise minimizes client risks, making him a crucial asset for high-stakes product development.
Jose Domingo Hernandez joined Natech in 2006 and is the Plant Manager. He supervises all production and daily manufacturing operations at both manufacturing facilities. He manages the manufacturing engineers, shift forepersons, mold forepersons, molding technicians, floor persons, and operators. His responsibilities include manufacturing improvement projects, operator safety, plant expansion, and employee hiring, and he takes ownership of the professional development of the people on his team. Domingo takes pride in having started at Natech in an entry level position and growing into one of the key managers of the company. He is currently pursuing his degree in Manufacturing Technology from Suffolk Community College. He holds professional certificates in ISO 9001 internal audit, mold polish, and mold maintenance and repair and is fluent in Spanish. His mutual growth with the company has instilled his sense of giving back through the sharing of his professional knowledge and experience to the youth of his community.
